I’ll be your sewing instructor helping you along the way as you begin your rewarding sewing journey!
I am a multi-passionate design enthusiast and started my personal sewing journey in 2007. I have experience sewing a variety of items such as home décor, clothing, and accessories.
Being able to design and create clothing and other things that I imagine is more than rewarding. I look forward to sharing this same ability with you!
There are so many benefits and blessings that come from learning this timeless skill.
We’ll be going through lessons together, at your own pace, learning all the basics needed to get you on your way to continuously growing your soon to be new skill.
1-on-1 Course Curriculum
During this 1-on-1 Live Virtual Sewing Course you will learn the following basics of sewing:
How to use a sewing machine
How to setup your sewing machine
Which threads and needles are best for various projects
Where to purchase fabric and patterns
How to select patterns
How to read a pattern
Basics of garment construction
I will also guide you through creating one garment
Many other basics, as we will have much time for Q & A’s
In Addition, you will also receive helpful PDFs and homework in-between lessons during the course to help guide you to success.
Please Note: While this is a structured course that follows a curriculum, the pace of the course is customized to suit the pior knowledge, or lack there of, of each student. This course allows for a customized flow or pace to ensure you are comfortable with what you are learning and grasping the concepts taught.

How The Course Works,
A simple explanation of how the course will flow.
Lesson Frequency: One time a week at 5:30 PM EST.
Lesson Duration: 90 minutes each
How We’ll Meet: We will meet weekly via Zoom.
Course Duration: Each person’s course duration will vary, but diligent students can learn the basics after about 12-16 lessons with practice and homework completed in-between lessons.
Supplies Needed: A working sewing machine, basic sewing supplies/tools, tripods, and fabric for the garment we will make together. A more detailed list is available through our private student portal.
